Football Player Legend

There are always great players who played in the World Cup, but not all great players can be a legend. There are some great players who will continue to be remembered for all time.

Their achievements and their contribution to their country at the World Cup, and because two of them that they deserve the title of the greatest legends of the World Cup. Who are they?


Bobby Charlton 
He is a true England warrior. If Charlton had never existed, the British would never win any international tournament, maybe. Yes, England which won the 1966 World Cup England with from Bobby Charlton important role on the front lines. 

With a height of only 173 cm, Charlton relied heavily on pace to lead the England attack in World Cup 1966. He was amazing player with distribute ball, Bobby Charlton also had have goal instincts. Record 49 goals in 105 appearances for England is still the record for most goals in the history of England, who could not even equaled by Gary Lineker once.


Charlton participated in four World Cups. Although not revealed at all in the 1958 World Cup, Bobby Charlton became England's foothold in the next three World Cups. The climax of course when Charlton took England to World Cup champion in 1966. 


It was 28-year-old Charlton, golden age for a footballer. In the final against Germany, Charlton must fight against a young Beckenbauer, who finally had to admit the greatness of Sir Bobby. "England beat us in 1966 because of Charlton's only slightly better than me at the time," said the Emperor.
