Chelsea vs MU September 2011

Ever since Chelsea became a rich club, and later became champions in 2004/2005 season, a meeting with the "Red Devils" including the long-awaited party. Similarly, the battle between its managers. More specifically, is a duel against Chelsea coach Sir Alex Ferguson.

If the Mourinho era begins, there is a "symptom" is quite interesting. In Mourinho's first game in the Premier League, on August 15, 2005 at Stamford Bridge, he immediately met Manchester United (and Sir Alex). He won 1-0 goals by Eidur Gudjohnsen, and at the end of the season as champions Chelsea.

In the Community Shield 2007, on August 5, Chelsea lost to Manchester United on penalties after a 1-1 draw for 90 minutes. In fact, nearly two months later, Mourinho was sacked by his club, and chair Huus Hiddink handed over until the end of the season.
In the following season Chelsea appoint Luiz Felipe Scolari as manager. And Scolari's first meeting with Fergie (and MU) is 21 September 2008. He did not win, "just" the series 1-1. Scolari dismissed five months later.

In the 2009/2010 season came Carlo Ancelotti, and he dueled against Manchester United in the Community Shield on August 9. The Italian immediately get a trophy after Chelsea won on penalties. At the league meeting on November 8, Ancelotti won again with a score of 1-0.
Similar to Mourinho, the first victory in his first meeting against Manchester United (and Fergie), Ancelotti managed to deliver the Premiership champions Chelsea to a ladder.

Conversely, when the opportunity was repeated in the next season, Ancelotti even backward. Losing on penalties in the Community Shield 2010, Ancelotti also lost its Premier League title last season, and he was fired.

What about the Villas-Boas? via
